A 18 inch downrod is typically recommended for 10 feet ceiling heights.
A 24 inch downrod is typically recommended for 11 feet ceiling heights.
A 36 inch downrod is typically recommended for 12 feet ceiling heights.
A 48 inch downrod is typically recommended for 13 feet ceiling heights.
A 60 inch downrod is typically recommended for 14 feet ceiling heights.
A 72 inch downrod is typically recommended for 15 feet ceiling heights.

Questions from other customers
Ask a Question
Q:
What is the most efficient downrod length for a ceiling fan in a room with a 20 foot ceiling?
Asked February 14, 2008
1 Answer
Answer this Question
A:
You want to keep your fan 8-10 feet from the floor. 3 ft is enough to keep the fan from starving it self of air. I would go at least 5 ft.
